Who installs skylights in Jacksonville, FL?

Nature Vue Skylights has installed, repaired and replaced skylights in Jacksonville and the surrounding First Coast since 1981. Is Nature Vue a certified VELUX installer?

Yes. VELUX lists Nature Vue Skylights as a VELUX Skylight Specialist, the highest certification VELUX gives independent installers. We are the only Skylight Specialist in the VELUX installer directory for Jacksonville.

How much does a Sun Tunnel skylight cost?

How long does a skylight installation take?

A VELUX Sun Tunnel is typically installed in about two hours, with no mess. Our own factory-certified installers do every job, and they clean up before they leave.

Will my new skylight leak?

No. We guarantee in writing that our installations will not leak. VELUX skylights also come with a 10-year installation warranty.

Can you repair or replace an old or leaking skylight?

Yes. We repair and replace all types of leaking skylights, including old plastic dome skylights. Replacement VELUX glass skylights carry the Florida product approval numbers that Florida roofing contractors are required to use. Ask about the VELUX No Leak warranty and solar-powered blinds. Do you repair roof leaks that aren't from a skylight?

Yes. As a Florida State Certified Roofing Contractor, we find and repair hard-to-find leaks around chimneys, porches, skylights and other parts of the roof. See roof repairs.

Are you licensed and insured, and do you use subcontractors?

Nature Vue Skylights is a Florida State Certified Roofing Contractor (license CCC058105) and is fully insured, with liability insurance to protect your home and workers’ compensation insurance to protect the installer. We use no subcontractors. Every installation is done by our own factory-certified, licensed employees.

What is the difference between a skylight and a Sun Tunnel?

A glass skylight is a window in your roof. VELUX makes them in a wide range of sizes, with a full selection of blinds. A Sun Tunnel is a tubular skylight: it collects daylight on the roof and carries it through a reflective tube to a ceiling diffuser. That lets it light rooms where a full skylight won’t fit, such as hallways, closets, bathrooms and laundry rooms. Compare our products.

Can I see skylights in person before I buy?

Yes. Our showroom is the only daylit skylight showroom in Northeast Florida, with 14 installed skylights. Showroom visits are by appointment. Call (904) 268-9176 to book a time.

What is a solar attic fan, and do you install them?

Yes, we install Natural Light solar attic fans. A solar attic fan runs entirely on solar power and vents hot air out of your attic. The 36-watt model vents up to 2,500 square feet. Solar attic fans also work in workshops, garages, sheds and other buildings that need better airflow.

Is there still a federal tax credit for skylights or solar attic fans?

Not for new installations. The federal residential energy tax credits that covered qualifying skylights and solar products (IRS sections 25C and 25D) ended for installations completed after December 31, 2025. If your project was finished in 2025 or earlier, keep your receipts and ask your tax professional about IRS Form 5695.

Should I replace my skylights when I replace my roof?

A roof replacement is a good time to replace older skylights and Sun Tunnels, because the roof is already open. We schedule the work with your roofing company.
